Fredericksburg is located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country - 60 miles from San Antonio, 70 miles from Austin, and 200 miles from Dallas and Houston.

For those traveling via plane, San Antonio International Airport (SAT) is nearest to Fredericksburg and about a 1 hr drive. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is another option near Fredericksburg, about 1 hr 40 min drive, traffic dependent.

We recommend renting a car, as this will give you the most flexibility to explore the Hill Country. Once in the town of Fredericksburg, most things will be walkable, except for wineries, which are located 15-20 min outside of town. Many tours are offered by private companies with drivers.

Ladybird Jet offers semi-private flights from Dallas (ADS) and Houston (IWS) to Fredericksburg (T82).

Transportation will be provided from recommended hotels and Peach Street.
